Smashed Potatoes

Recipe Smashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g small potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. oliveoil
  • 1 tbsp. coarse seasalt
  • Fresh Pepper
  • 1 tbsp. flat leaf parsley
  • Martha Laue’s Original Spice Ketchup by HELA to your choice

THAT'S HOW IT IS DONE

  1.  Boil a pot of water. Let the potatoes cooking for 20 minutes. Afterwards you take them out of the water and let them cool down.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220°C top-/bottom heat.
  3. Now put a baking sheet on a baking plate and place the potatoes, with a bit space to each other, on it. Lay some kitchen roll sheets on top and pressure with your flat hand on the potatoes until they are flat. Furthermore remove the kitchen roll, sprinkle the potatoes with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. Bake the potatoes for approx. 20 minutes until they are golden brown.
  4. In addition bestrew them with freshly cut parsley and serve the potatoes with Martha Laue’s Original Spice Ketchup by HELA.
