
WORLD OF KETCHUP

INGREDIENTS
- 8 slices of white bread, approx. 1 cm thick
- 8 tablespoons of Martha Laue’s Original Spice Ketchup from HELA
- 4 slices of Gruyère cheese
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 slices of ham
- 2 tablespoons of chives
THAT'S HOW IT IS DONE
- Preheat oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.
- Toast 8 slices of bread and spread each with a tablespoon of Hela Ketchup. Place a slice of Gruyère on each of 4 slices and top with thin slices of tomato. On the other 4 slices of bread, place the ham. Fold one cheese slice and one ham slice together and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
- For a rustic look, the finished breads can then be briefly browned on both sides in a fluted pan that is already hot and brushed with a little butter.
- Serve with freshly cut chives and Martha Laue’s Original Spice Ketchup from HELA.
